Gympie State High School on ABC Radio Sunshine Coast

Written by Gillian Chan

Thanks for the shout out ABC Radio Sunshine Coast! It was so wonderful to spread the work Gympie State High School is doing to ignite change, innovation and entrepreneurship for the next generation. Gympie State High School is well and truly leading the way for entrepreneurial education in Queensland and to have them be a part of the AgriFutures program for the second year running is phenomenal. It was wonderful to see Mayor Mick Curran at another startup.business event and what an honour it was to have Tony Perrett MP, the shadow minister for agriculture, at the Gympie State High School launch. Furthermore, we would like to give a big thanks to the following speakers for sharing their knowledge with the students and Gympie community: Tom Barnes (Packhorse), Trevor Zerner/Julie Williams (Ag Solutions), Terry Nolan (Nolan Meats), Lynne Wilbraham/Jason Virtue (Entrepreneurship facilitators), Nicole Harper (Gympie Regional Council) and David Fletcher (NAB).
